Summer 2022 FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)

The Keep Kids Fed Act that was recently passed by Congress gives USDA the authority to continue emergency flexibility waivers that were originally set to expire on June 30, 2022.

We are waiting for more information from USDA on what waivers will be issued and how they will impact meal service this summer. In the meantime, the resources below can help meal providers and other partners understand what is possible.
